Anne is a qualified lawyer in England, Hong Kong and Singapore. She spent the bulk of her legal career advising financial institutions and private clients on a wide range of banking and financing matters, including wealth structuring and regulatory compliance.
After completing her training with Sinclair Roche & Temperley in London, Anne was in private practice in Singapore over the period 1986 to 1997, covering: banking and finance, general corporate and direct investments in China and Vietnam. Prior to joining Forte Law LLC, Anne has spent more than 15 years with UBS AG, Singapore branch, initially as its Legal Counsel, supporting the investment banking, private banking and asset management businesses and subsequently, as deputy head of their KeyClient Solutions team in Asia. Anne graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (BSc Hons) from the University of Surrey in 1981. She qualified as a solicitor in England in 1983 and was admitted to practice in Hong Kong in 1984. She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1988. Anne also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Law from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Imperial College, London. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Equity Practice. Anne is fluent in both English and Chinese. |
